Admission Process

Admission to NMSSJ is open to all New York City residents entering the 9th or 10th grade. Prospective students are evaluated based on their academic records, attendance, and standardized test scores. The application process includes the following steps:

Application Submission

Complete the NYC High School Application, listing NMSSJ as one of your choices.

Academic Records

Provide your middle school transcripts, showcasing your academic performance.

Standardized Test Scores

Submit your latest standardized test scores.

Attendance Records

Ensure your attendance records reflect consistent school participation.

Interview

Selected applicants may be invited for an interview to discuss their interest in social justice and community involvement.
