Principal's Message

Welcome to NMSSJ, where we are dedicated to creating a community centered on Mastery-Based learning, Restorative Justice, early college experiences, social justice education and action, smart use of technology, and effective Rites of Passage for young people.

Like Nelson Mandela, we believe that access to a good education not only transforms the scholar but has the power to transform the world; we simply need the imagination and the commitment!

We believe our scholars can be transformative, and all that is needed is a platform, guidance, and motivation. We provide this platform through our dedication to the spirit, academics, and character of our young people. Programming at NMSSJ aims to award our scholars with the gift of knowing the impact that can be made in the world through their own thoughtful contributions of service, care, reflection, and imagination for themselves and their communities.
